Should be going very close again. The well-related LARRIKIN ROGUE (7) (half to G3 winner Shamalia) goes well around this circuit with a win and five placings from eight spins. Better than recent efforts suggest and can improve sharply without surprising. CHIEF WITNESS (9) has been thereabouts in all four runs this preparation and maps well for this from gate two. Include in calculations. DOWNEY (13) was a touch disappointing last time out but the form prior was good enough for a race of this nature. Worth another chance. KODIAK (3) best of the rest.
