Spin & Go are 3-Max Hyper-Turbo Sit & Go tournaments with randomly assigned prize pools. When three players register into a Spin & Go tournament, the prize pool is randomly generated before the start of the tournaments, by multiplying the buy-in by a value ranging from 2 to 6,000, and then announced to players.
Spin & Go tournaments are available in seven different buy-ins: €0.25, €1, €2, €5, €10, €20 and €50. If you choose to play a €50 Spin & Go and the system randomly multiplies the buy-in by 6,000, the winner of the tournament will receive a €250,000 prize, while the second and third finishers each receive a €25,000 prize. No. Deals or equity sharing agreements of any kind are not allowed in Spin & Go tournaments. Violation of this rule may result in penalties, including a warning, disqualification from the tournament (with full forfeiture of winnings) or even barring from PokerStars.
The rake in €0.25 Spin & Go’s is 8% of the tournament’s original buy-in.
The rake in €1, €2, €5, €10, and €20 Spin & Go’s is 7% of the tournament’s original buy-in.
The rake in €50 Spin & Go’s is 6% of the tournament’s original buy-in.
Regardless of the buy-in, players will start all Spin & Go tournaments with 500 starting chips and will play 3-minute levels. This means that the duration of Spin & Go’s will normally be less than 5 minutes, giving you the chance to win big in a matter of minutes.
