David Tous
If you thought Spain couldn’t produce any more exciting players to add to the poker community, think again. David Tous is already an established name in his native Spain, but he’s someone you’re going to hear a lot more of in the future, too.
Just over a decade ago, David didn’t even know how to play the game until a friend taught him the basics. Then he began to play online, building his knowledge and understanding until he developed a disciplined approach and a solid understanding of tournament play.
Brimming with confidence after a couple of years of taking on strong fields online, he ventured into the live poker arena. Before long, he made his presence felt thanks to eye-catching results that would become the norm on-the-felt, such as cashing at EPT Prague in 2023. A year later, he reached the final table of the Irish Open Main Event, finishing 9th and taking home more than €38,400.
In February of 2024, David bagged his biggest ever win, taking home over €76,300 for his 13th-place finish in the EPT Paris Main Event. As a result of these successes and more, he has amassed more than $400,000 in live earnings in a relatively short space of time.
Of course, David still plays online events, winning a Spring Championship of Online Poker (SCOOP) title in 2025. Whether online or in-person, he certainly feels at home at major tournaments.
