These Specific Sports Rules form part of and should be read alongside the Sportsbook Rules.
The following rules include reasons for voiding bets.
Bets will be settled based on the official results of the match/tournament/race (following any extension of normal time, where required, unless otherwise specified) as declared by the official organiser, administrator or governing body on their website. All decisions of the relevant esports officials will stand.
A map is deemed to have started as soon as the game clock starts, or either team or player takes a game action relating to that map, including picks, bans and weapon purchases.
If an event involves the same two players or teams playing multiple games or maps, and one or more games or maps are not played because the result of the event has already been determined, bets on such games or maps are void.
If the scheduled number of rounds or maps is changed, or if markets are erroneously offered based on a different number of rounds or maps from the actually scheduled number, bets will be void except those on the Match Odds (provided an official result is declared) and First Map markets.
Matches can be played best of 1, 2, 3 or 5 maps depending on the esport and tournament. The winner of the match (Match Odds) is based on who wins more maps. A draw will occur if each team win an equal number of maps.
If a team name changes (usually, but not limited to, sponsorship changes) but the roster or team members remain the same, all bets will stand.
Dates and start times are shown for information purposes only.
If an event is cancelled, postponed, abandoned or interrupted, and not completed within 24 hours of the original start time, bets on that event will be void, except for those that have been unconditionally determined. However, bets on games or maps that are completed within 24 hours will be settled normally, even if other games or maps that were supposed to be part of the same matchup are cancelled or further postponed.
We may, in our absolute discretion, void any bets placed after the earlier of the official start time (as published on the relevant official website) or the actual start time, if started early. This rule does not apply to In-Play betting.
If any map is not played or is awarded to one player or team by walkover, retirement, disqualification or default without play having been completed, bets on that map and on the matchup as a whole will be void. Bets relating only to maps or matches that are completed will stand.
If there is a replacement player or 'stand-in' for any team in a race, tournament or match, all bets will stand.
If a player of an individual esport (i.e. not a team event) withdraws prior to the start of their first race or match, all bets on that player will be void.
We make every effort to ensure that no errors are made in listing esports player and team names. All bets will stand where it is reasonably practicable that the misspelled player/team name refers to the correct player/team.
If a race, match or map is officially determined to be a draw due to a connectivity or technical issue (or similar reason), then all undecided markets will be void.
If a race, match or map is stopped and restarted from the beginning with the approval of the relevant administrator or official due to connectivity or technical issues which are not player related, then all undecided markets will be void.
If a team surrenders, bets will be settled as follows:
If a draw occurs, where we did not offer a 'draw' selection, then affected bets will be void. Dead heat rules do not apply.
A handicap in esports can be maps or any other counting measures related to the match. Handicap markets for Counter Strike matches refer to the handicap of rounds played.
In a match involving only two teams/players, both teams/players must take part in the tournament for bets to stand. If both teams/players progress to the same round of the tournament, all bets will be void.
Bets will be settled based on the team that achieves the first kill in the relevant map.
Bets will be settled based on which team kills the first dragon/baron in the relevant map. If no dragon/baron is killed, bets will be void.
Bets will be settled based on which team records the most kills in the relevant map. If teams are tied on the same number of kills, bets will be void.
All destroyed towers will count as having been destroyed by the opposing team even if the last hit was from a minion.
Bets on the First Inhibitor will be settled based on which team destroys the first inhibitor in the relevant map.
All destroyed inhibitors will count as having been destroyed by the opposing team even if the last hit was from a minion. For bets involving the number of inhibitors destroyed, each of the six inhibitors will count only once, even if it is destroyed, has respawned and is destroyed again. For bets involving the next inhibitor destroyed, each destruction of an inhibitor will count separately, even if it has respawned and is being destroyed for a second or subsequent time.
For bets involving the next team to score a particular objective or the team to score the most of a particular objective, where a ‘neither’ or ‘draw’ option is offered and is the winning outcome, bets on either team are losers. Where no such selection is offered and neither team is a winner, all bets on the market are void.
Where one team surrenders, bets stand and are settled as follows:
13.5.1. For bets involving the map winner, the winning team is the team that did not surrender.
13.5.2. Bets involving dragons, barons and kills are settled based on the situation at the time the surrender takes place.
13.5.3. Bets involving towers and inhibitors are settled based solely on the number of towers and inhibitors destroyed by the winning team during the course of the map before surrender. No additional towers or inhibitors are deemed to have been destroyed, regardless of what would have been theoretically required to win the game normally from that position.
13.5.4. Towers Example: If at surrender, the winning team destroyed 4 towers (e.g., all Tier 1 and 1 Tier 2), the total is 4, with no addition of Tier 3 or Tier 4 towers, even if those would have been needed to win.
All destroyed towers will count as having been destroyed by the opposing team, even if the last hit was from a minion.
All destroyed barracks will count as having been destroyed by the opposing team, even if the last hit was from a minion. The ranged and melee barracks in each pair count as separate barracks so that each team has a total of six barracks.
For bets on First Blood, the broadcast or official API score must register the kill as ‘First Blood’. If, for example, a kill is denied by a teammate, it may not be counted as ‘First Blood’ (regardless of whether it is registered as a kill on the broadcast kill counter), in which case it will not count as ‘First Blood’ for bet settlement purposes.
The team that scores the last hit on Roshan as determined by the broadcast or game API if available is deemed to have slain Roshan, regardless of the player who picks up the aegis of the immortal.
Bets on the First Aegis market will be settled based on which team picks up the first aegis of the respective map. If the aegis is not picked up at all in a map, bets will be void.
Where one team surrenders, bets stand and are settled as follows:
14.6.1. For bets involving the map winner, the winning team is the team that did not surrender.
14.6.2. Bets involving Roshans, barracks and kills are settled based on the situation at the time the surrender takes place.
14.6.3. Bets involving towers are settled based only on the towers destroyed during the course of the map before surrender. Towers that would have needed to be destroyed to win the game normally, but were not destroyed, will not be counted in the total. For example, if the winning team has destroyed all tier 1 towers and one tier 2 tower before the surrender, only those towers (four in total) will be counted, and no additional towers will be deemed destroyed.
Most map bets are based on the scheduled number of rounds (usually best of 30), excluding extra rounds played in the event of a draw. If, however, a Map Winner market is offered without a ‘draw’ selection, bets will be settled in favour of the overall winner of the map (including extra time if played).
FIFA/EA Sports FC
Bets will be settled based on regular time only, inclusive of injury time. Extra time and penalties do not count.
Bets will be settled based on regular time only, inclusive of injury time. Should a draw occur, bets are void.
A double chance bet allows you to cover two of the three possible outcomes in the match with one bet. 'Home team and draw' is settled as a winner if the home team wins or draws the match. 'Away team and draw' is settled as a winner if the away team wins or draws the match. 'Home team and away team' is settled as a winner if the home team or the away team wins the match.
Bets are settled based on the official broadcast of the game by the publisher or event organiser. Where the broadcast shows a counter of rounds won, kills, dragons, towers etc., this will generally be used to settle relevant bets. If the result of a bet is unclear from the broadcast, or if there is no broadcast, then the statistics API for the game will be used where available.
In the case of indexed or numbered markets (such as the winner of a specific round in Counter Strike 2, or the team to score a particular numbered kill in League of Legends or DOTA2), the index determines the objective that counts. Words such as "next" in the market name are not guaranteed to be correct, as broadcasts may be delayed and we may not always advance the index precisely when an objective is scored or a round completed. All bets are therefore settled on the particular numbered round or objective specified, regardless of any other wording in the market name or its timing in relation to when the bet was placed.
If the scheduled number of rounds or maps is changed, or if markets are erroneously offered based on a different number of rounds or maps from the actually scheduled number, then bets on the winning margin (including handicap), total rounds / maps, correct scores etc. are void and stakes refunded. Map winner and matchup winner bets stand.
If any map is not played or is awarded to one player or team by walkover or default without play having commenced, all bets on that map and on the matchup as a whole are void and stakes refunded. Bets relating only to maps that are played stand. A map is deemed to have started as soon as the game clock starts or either team or player takes a game action relating to that map, including picks, bans and weapon purchases.
