Small field but plenty of winning chances in the opener. METRICAL (4) is flying this campaign and can win again. He's versatile but he won't be far away from a low draw in the small field and he should be within striking distance. His turn of foot can help him get past most of these. DELIGHTFUL SHECKY (7) wasn't far off Metrical last start and looks ready to peak here. He's a danger again. VAIL MOUNTAIN (1) is a dual acceptor but if he runs in Adelaide, he's a top-three chance. He gets in well with the 2kg claim. LAYERUPONLAYER (3) can go close again on the quick back-up, while STARLITE VALLEY (8) has been OK without winning of late and is one to include at a price.
