Tricky maiden to assess with several first starters that have shown enough in their trials. THUNDER SHOC (13) is first-up off a decent break and has trialed well for this. If she turns up in similar form to last campaign then a race like this is within her grasp. Drawn well and gets a leading rider on top. ANECDOTAL (3) is getting closer to a win and should benefit from the step from 900m to 1000m. He looks a danger. MONDELLO (11) can improve this preparation, while ARAMOSO (1) is crying out to win one of these. He needs everything to go right but he's sure to run well again. HOMETOWN GAL (9) has trialed well and might be the best of the debutants.
