PROMISING (11) ended last campaign on a winning note and has moved well at the trials coming into this. She'll need some luck from the inside, but she's shown good ability thus far and has won down the straight previously. Big chance and happy to bet on a winning return given that nice winning trial. This is tougher for HAIDA GWAII (9), though she's hard to knock on recent form and is another with a good last start win in the book which always demands respect. EARTH GOD (8) can resume on a good note for the new stable in the west. Has shown hints of talented and perhaps that wonderful western sun will do the trick.
