BERKSHIRE BREEZE (11) was only third up into the G3 Bart Cummings last start and loomed up off the brutal tempo as some sort of hope before petering out late to finish sixth. He's coming along well having worked home behind subsequent Caulfield Cup winner Half Yours two back and should be at peak fitness now. SMOKIN' ROMANS (3) was better in the G2 Herbert Power last time although did lead at a slow speed. He'll take catching. POST IMPRESSIONIST (6) is desperate for a staying test which he hasn't seen this time in. He could improve here. ONESMOOTHOPERATOR (5) must be respected as must BRAYDEN STAR (1) who is going well and ran fourth in this race last year.
